Historic Awareness

Historic preservation is our tie to the past . . .Whether it be a story, a photo, a chair, or even a building, the link to the past is what gives a community its roots. The Edmonds-South Snohomish County Historical Society is chartered to preserve the history of Edmonds and the surrounding areas. While the Edmonds Museum is set up to house and display historical artifacts and data, another key function of any historic society is to encourage the preservation of historic structures and sites. This web page is intended to summarize the historic preservation efforts of structures and sites both here in Edmonds and all over our nation.
