Historic Plaques

In 1983 the Edmonds-South Snohomish County Historical Society began the practice of placing a plaque each year at a site of historic importance to the community. The year of placement and the location of each of those plaques is presented below. Click on the plaque title to take you to alink which will tell you more about the site and to read the inscription on the plaque. It is the Society's hope that those who visit and live in this community will note the significance of these historic locations and events in the history of the Edmonds community.
